I only have one very small prescription pill and a small Ibuprofen to take but usually add in 3 large capsule supplements plus another small one.So that can be 6 or 7 usually.
All in the hand at once and 'gulp'.
Do you do this or take them one at a time?
And, is there any good reason not to take them all at once rather than different times of the day?
(it is after eating something)
I take my mine three times a day. Breakfast lunch and supper. Some of these things are horse pills. I take 8 per day. I think it's better to stagger them through the day than rather all at once.
You can take them however is comfortable to you. Hubby takes several after breakfast, and more than that after dinner. You just need to know if they need to be taken on an empty stomach or with food.
Many medications need to be taken alone, foods, supplements, over-the -counter meds, etc can interact or even prevent the medication from working.
Go to drugs dot com and go to the medication interactions function. Input all your medications, supplements like calcium, vitamin D, etc and see if you need to take some of them at different times.
I have two medications that did not work well, my thyroid and asthma meds. Then I found out I should have been taking them 4 hours apart, as they canceled each other out when taken at the same time, which I had been doing for decades. And no one, not a doctor or pharmacist ever told me about this, I had to find out on my own!
