The doctors found nothing wrong. No blockage, slightly enlarged prostate, some pain in the testicles, but no lumps or bumps that aren't supposed to be there. BTW-Everything is back to normal.
When was this, between your OP and first thing this morning? And were "the doctors" urologists or cardiologists?

Hi all, 66 year old male, happily married for 44 years. I've been using Viagra for a few years for obvious reasons. My wife and I have regular sex, but I haven't experienced climax for almost a year. Today I had a reaction to Viagra that I haven't experienced before. Right now, I'm shaky, my pulse is 116 BPM, my face is flushed, and I generally feel on edge. I'm guessing Viagra is responsible. Anyone else have a reaction like this?
Thanks in advance.
I get a bit of the facial flush and sometimes a lingering stuffy nose and that is with just 1/2 a dose (I cut the pills in half).
It is a vasodilator and we want that effect to be targeted but there is some systemic crossover. That means maybe a lower blood pressure and your heart rate could then pick up a little to compensate.
It struck me as odd that a post devoid of reported chest pain, arm pain, shoulder pain, shortness of breath & fatigue was garnering such responses.
He was asking about side effects from Viagra & then he updated with this:
If my heartbeat 116x a minute and unless I was currently f’ing someone for a gold metal at the sex olympics I would be going to a doctor
While you may be the greatest let’s google symptoms and play online doctor there ever was but I rather go see one in real life. Sorry but I’m not waiting until chest pain, arm pain, shoulder pain, shortness of breath & fatigue to go see a doctor. He doesn’t have to have a heart attack. He could be having a reaction to something. NONE of us know what the man needed. The best thing was to go see a MD not post on here guess what’s my medical condition.
I took Viagra a few times a while back and I had a couple side effects like a flushed face and weird vision effects. I tried Levitra and it was much better for me as far as side effects. Might be worth a try, or Cialis maybe.

Okay.
I didn't google the symptoms because as an RN; I recognized the symptoms. I googled 'Viagra pdf' to get to the product information sheet without having to hash through all the yammering.
This is the Health & Wellness Forum & the OP came here for feedback; not a diagnosis & that's what I gave him. Feedback.
My main concern was that nobody had yet to validate that Viagra could indeed have been causative for this event & as a man who has struggled with ED for a year, this may have led to him beginning to doubt his own judgment & Vasodilatory Shock CAN be fatal.
So yeah; after multiple posts telling him he was at death's door I didn't want him to tune me out by adding to that message ad nauseum.
I intentionally did not say 'go to the doctor now'; #1 because almost everybody else had already done that & #2; I didn't want him to think 'maybe I was wrong & can give it a go again ..' because he is at risk for it to happen again & it may not end well the next time.
A few months after my Dad was admitted to a nursing home, I came in to visit and found him asleep, so I decided to check his chart. It showed that he was getting a daily Viagra, just before bedtime. Thinking there was some mistake, I went up to the nursing station, and showed the attending nurse, who informed me there was no mistake. I said, "Look here, my Dad is 85 years old, and hasn't had relations since my Mom passed almost a decade ago. Why in God's name would you be giving him Viagra?"
The nurse replied, "Oh, we give all of our elderly male patients Viagra every evening, it keeps them from rolling out of bed".
Sorry, couldn't resist. Works better in the first person, don't you think?' I started chewing V daily after my doctor told me to "Keep a stiff upper lip".
