It's 2019 and they can't even successfully treat my pelvic floor dyssynergia condition which causes permanent chronic constipation. They can't successfully treat my high blood pressure and kidney disease. Doctors are so useless they can't even stop my knees from popping. I rather pay a clown and a magician than a doctor. At least the clown and magician will entertain me. My last appointment to a kidney doctor I paid this fool $200 and that's with insurance just for him to prescribe me a high blood pressure medication. It didn't even work. I would check my blood pressure and nothing even change. It gave me negative side effects like the other medications the other doctors gave me in the past that made my chronic constipation even worse which caused me to lose my job by losing too many days. I told this fool this could happen if I took a medication with that negative side effect but he said it wouldn't. It did. He was wrong. He is useless like the rest of the doctors I been to for all my medical conditions. I don't take any medications or supplements for my high blood pressure because they always end up making my already chronic constipation even worse.
OP: Many drugs cause constipation, a common side effect. WE need to work on ourselves and keep ourselves regular. I've been doing this for half my life at least. I take xtra magnesium and ox bile daily to keep things moving nicely.
I would not throw out supplements as I've worked with them for over 30 yrs and can't say a lot of stuff things about allopathic doctors. Have you ever considered integrative MD's or naturopaths.
I ended up on 2 BP pills about 20 yrs ago and they keep my pressure in a good place.
The popping of joints is arthritis and I've been working with that one for all my life, 60 some yrs from a lot of wear and tear and exercise and dancing. We need to research and research and be willing TO DO OUR OWN WORK.
There is miles of info here in Alternative Med and the Supplement areas.

Why exactly are you seeing a kidney doctor? Did you go to them directly or through a referral? How long did you give the medication to work....are you sure you're taking your BP correctly with an accurate instrument?
Knees popping (not out of joint but just "crackling") without pain or limitation of movement is likely not something that even needs to be treated - are you annoyed or is it a real issue?
I would rely on homeopathy before i go to a doctor, That's just my POV and i know many wont agree but its worked for me thus far.
Boy a voice that I didn't expect to hear here. Homeopathy works for a lot. Depends on the issue but one can just do a search with the issue and homeopathic remedy.
On the constipation issues, look at the foods you are consuming. Meats and especially constipting and it's good to drink cups of Hot water during the day. keep things moving. Don't freeze your insides up with cold liquids.

Dreamer, do you have constipation even after one of your binge eating episodes? Whenever I eat more than normal, I usually have to go to the bathroom more often but then I don't have kidney disease. Sorry you are suffering.

Yes, even without binge eating for a few months it's still there no matter what. Doctors told me binge eating disorder cause constipation and cannot cause pelvic floor dyssynergia.

Why do people binge eat?
