As others have suggested, you could set an alarm in the evenings, or set your meds out where you can't miss them to remember to take them before you go to bed. Then I'd bet once you get used to taking those meds at night, you won't need those reminders. At least that is how it works for me.

Though if you make that switch, you might have to have a reminder NOT to take the meds in the AM, at first. I'd need that reminder.

I take the diuretic HCTZ in the morning for obvious reasons and take Losartan before bed. Works like a charm. It's been three years being on the meds and it's so good knowing my pressure is under control.

I'm kind of wondering if this has anything to do with untreated sleep apnea. That's the significant reason I can think of where your blood pressure would spike during sleeping hours.

I had mild untreated sleep apnea. I have been using the CPAP machine for about 6 weeks. I also have bradycardia and tachycardia. The cardiologist checked my thyroid, which turned out to be fine. He was hoping that sleep apnea was causing the cardiac problems. I will probably have to wear the heart monitor for another 10 days to find out.
