When I'm home I drink whatever they claim is Spring Water at the supermarket. Zephyr Hills down here in Florida, Poland Springs when I was living in the north. Tap water just doesn't taste good even with our water filter. It's safe enough I suppose but I have a hard time even taking a few gulps from the tap to take medicine when I need it.

When I'm at a restaurant I usually ask for water with lemon in it, to kill the taste. I don't usually drink soda and only have one coffee in the morning.

We have a shallow well adjacent to a mostly year round stream in a rural area. We also have a very large deep pond to water crops with. We had our domestic well water tested decades ago which tested positive for non-specific e. Coli. We have been getting drinking water from the vending machine at a local grocery store in 3 gallon jugs at $.40 per gallon.

Last year, we installed two 2200 gallon water storage tanks as we would get precipitously close to running out of water. Next year, we plan to install an Ozone system. As for the city water I grew up with, it tastes like chlorine and has worsened. We carry water from home in SS bottles if we are in town fir errands. We do not buy water in plastic bottles which is wasteful and just puts money in the hands of Nestlé.

Actually that sulfur is in the form of H2S gas. It tends to dissipate by the time the ice cubes are formed. You don't taste it in ice cubes.

Our local commercial water supply comes from Sierra streams. Better than any bottled water. I fill it into empty water bottles to sip during the day
