I don't really care about the fundamental reasons for getting them but the fact is there is a high risk of complications and deaths associated with implants. Women getting them are willing to take these unnecessary risk for cosmetic reasons which is unreasonable. If this was a surgery to correct facial deformity I can understand but not for getting some bumps on the chest or thighs.

There's not a high chance of death at all with breast implants... They really have them down now. It's a really hard surgery to screw up.. As long as you go to a reputable surgeon, nothing will happen.

The way I see it, if it's not my girlfriend choosing this risk (particularly relative to me), it's unreasonable to be emotionally invested in/stressed about any woman's choice, in general, and/or that which came before me.

They came down but it's not zero. So why go through the knife for a meaningless operation. It's not like a kidney transplant. Besides it's not healthy to have large breasts, it's where toxins are stored as fats there. So if you have small breasts and not much body fat you should be happy that you have lower risk of cancer.
Women who get breast implants have issues with their bodies or have sexual intimacy issues. There's really no disputing that, there's no other reason to get them no matter how you try to spin it.

Well, it wasn't a meaningless operation to me... I was very healthy, so I was willing to take the risk. And I don't know if it's actually unhealthy to have large breasts.... Maybe if they're huge and they cause back problems..
