"Um no it was your article that was referring to men with prostate cancer should not take TRT. Here it is one last time, directly from your article since you seem to be the one that cannot read your own articles:"

So you were lying as lately as 9:07 pm yesterday. Now you admit it was your link. As anyone can readily see.
If you have to resort to emotion and constant insults, you do not have a case.
My article says there is no evidence supporting a causative role of testosterone supplementation on the levels in the physiological normal range, with the risk of developing prostate cancer. And is backed with evidence.

Your article from webmd that YOU posted states that men with prostate cancer should NOT take TRT. Nowhere in your article does it state that taking TRT causes prostate cancer in healthy men. Not sure why it is so hard for you to understand this.

FYI: Asking for evidence of your claims repeatedly is not insulting

But I am focused and eating healthy and going to the gym again. I lift and do cardio. I also go for 30 minute walks on my lunch hour at work. I'm still having trouble with sex though. My girlfriend has been patient and supportive, but she is starting get sexually frustrated, and I totally understand. I'm a little embarrassed to say this, but one of my issues is porn and masturbation. I think you are right with it being an issue with my motivation. I did some research on this and you are spot on with your comment.

I also need to get better with sleep. I can be a bit of a night owl, and my mind is always racing at night. Sometimes I am in bed by midnight, other nights it's 1:30. I try to get up at 5 for the gym, but lately I just sleep until 6:30 because I struggle with getting up so early.

You’re struggling in all facets of a higher testosterone lifestyle. I think getting rid of porn & masturbation is most essential. The essence of masculinity is having sex frequently. Porn & masturbation is an unhealthy sexual release.

All the things that I suggested are meant to work in conjunction with each other to naturally optimize testosterone levels. Eliminating porn/masturbation is best for your sexual response when having sex and will affect your motivation to get sex. Soy & processed foods are unhealthy chemicals for your body, which impacts your thought process, impulse control, and weight, all of which affect T levels.

Sleep 7-9 hours a night & lift.

Thank you so much for your advice. I will stop with the porn and masturbation completely, and I will make sure I try to at least get 7 hours of sleep. I have already eliminated any soy and processed foods from my diet, and I can already notice a difference. I will continue hitting the gym as well.

I'm impressed that you can already notice a difference. It took me some time to notice that. The no soy, no processed foods, no porn, no masturbation, and heavy exercise routine is difficult to implement. The no porn/no masturbation one is most difficult.

I get my testosterone checked yearly and it was in the high 700s at last check.

A few months ago I noticed something wasn't right with me. My sex drive was low, as was my energy. I was always feeling tired and irritable. I did some research and found out that sometimes being obese can affect testosterone levels in men. I did feel a little better as I read up on how exercising can sometimes bring the levels back up, especially if you are young. I am overweight, but have been exercising for the past few years now. I was originally 350 lbs when I first started, and at one point I was 220. But yet I still didn't feel like me.

I have a membership with Ancestry and decided to do a health report from them. The report showed that my testosterone levels were lower than the average person for someone my age. So I made an appointment with my doctor and got a physical, and also told her what was wrong. Sadly I did gain some weight back, as 2019 was a hectic year for me. I currently weigh 297, but I am back at the gym and eating better and have already lost 10 lbs. My doctor took some blood work and said the levels were low, but wanted to take more blood in the early morning to get a better reading. The second report showed my levels were very low.

She prescribed me testosterone and said I may or may not need to take this for the rest of my life. It's a topical gel I have to rub on my shoulder once a day. I have been doing this for almost a week now and I do notice that it's working. I did some research on how it can improve my life. I have noticed I can concentrate better, I am not as depressed (I do struggle with depression but it isn't a high level of it), my anxiety levels are low, and I have more energy. The only side effect I have been experiencing so far is going to the bathroom more frequently. However, I am worried that this won't fully resolve my issue. I am trying not to get in my own head, but I am afraid if this doesn't work, that I won't be able to live a normal life, or even have a normal sex life for that matter.

I almost cried thinking about it the night before because I am only 31, yet my testosterone levels are far below what they should be for a male of my age. Is there anyone else on CD with this issue? Is the medication working for you? What are some other ways to cope with this?
You should research whether women like overweight persons before worrying about testy. Not being rude, but unless you come to 180, you can forget these things. It will take a year of walking and a decent diet to do that.

Well, I notice a slight difference. Nothing astronomical, at least not yet. Mainly I noticed that I have more energy and I can focus a bit better. I already workout, so that shouldn't be an issue for me. But yes, the porn and masturbation will be the hardest one LOL.

What? Um, I'm good. I have a girlfriend so I am all set in that department. And I would never want to be with a women that only wants to be with me if I am skinny. I weigh 297 at the moment, and I don't look disgustingly overweight. Plus I am eating better and exercising. I fell off the wagon for a bit last year, but I am back in full swing.

Thats good that u r on the right track. 297 may not look overweight, but is overweight unless you are 250cm tall.

Unless you are ridiculously tall, 297 will look overweight. You are over 130 pounds heavier than I am.

Porn and masturbation avoidance will be the most difficult lifestyle change. You are fortunate to already have a girlfriend. A lot of the men who are big time users of pornography do not have girlfriends and do not have a sexual outlet. That process of removing that element from their lives is even more difficult than the process you'll encounter.

Doing all the things I suggested is way better than hormonal therapy.

I am short, so yes, I am/do look overweight. But even my doctor said appearance-wise it's not that bad. Not that it means I shouldn't strive to lose the weight and be healthier, but she said she has seen worse, and I believe it LOL. I was single for many years because of how huge I had gotten at one point, and because I was going nowhere in life. So porn was my outlet. You are definitely right when you say it's hard to remove that element. I had trouble doing it even when I first started dating my girlfriend.
