Has anyone here taken the live typhoid vaccine (the pills you keep in the fridge). If so, did you have side effects?
I finished the last of four pills yesterday and am now feeling pretty sick with nausea, stomach pain & diarrhea. I can’t tell if my chronic pancreatitis is acting up suddenly, or I’m having side effects from the vaccine or a have a stomach bug.
I really hope it isn’t a chronic pancreatitis flare and am hoping it is just vaccine side effects, but last time I had the vaccine (5 years ago) I don’t remember having problems with it.
I have no idea but I have a question. Why does one get this vaccine? Do you get it prior to traveling to some exotic country? I don't think I've ever known anyone to get this vaccine.
