For just being out and about, I've been using a disinfecting wipe, like it's a handkerchief almost. I just hold on to one all the time. I have a roll at work, and a roll in the car. Going in the store? I have one to wipe down the handle on the cart, and just keep it in my hand. I'm wiping my hands with it all the time. Does my nose itch, I use the wipe. I use it to open doors, push elevator buttons, and so on and so forth.

Yes, this. No dilution.
And place in a baggie at the market if you have no wipes.

..Sorry not Diana ---Nivea works well ...but if you particularly like petroleum
in you lotions ---
You could get anything and place a few drops of gasoline in it and shake, of course.
(Petroleum products, which include mineral oil - can not be digested by the body and so is
'shoved' into pockets in the body - for instance pools in baby's brains that were autopsied
after 'Crib death', of course in baby oil and lotions rubbed on their scalps and all over.
Reported in JAMA - Journal of the AMA around 1981 - an interpersonal communication between MDs ---
not necessarily made public, btw.
So not anyone's fault they don't know this!)

Oh - first Nivea ingredients: Water, Mineral Oil, Petrolatum...lets see, I believe Germany banned
petroleum prods in their skin care and cosmetics as I recall.
Don't throw any out - --good for hinges. Or tree trunks if a bug infestation on Elms.

I don't go in a store without
surgical gloves, now - if for no other reason that I never have any urge to touch my face!!
A plus. Rem your steering wheel.

Use what you've got. Adapt, make-do, improvise.

OK, so maybe I'm dense, but so far, no one has addressed the issue of why washing your hands with soap and water for a recommended 20 seconds or more is effective at killing and/or removing a virus, but washing/wiping your hands for a minute with a paper towel with say, 40% to 50% alcohol solution on it is not effective??? Wouldn't alcohol, water, and a dash of liquid soap be just as effective as soap and water?
