I have had a couple meniscus tears and, in general, they are slowly improving, particularly when on my feet. Both tears are in my left knee. I do some biking and have no pain when biking. I can walk with some limited pain only and stiffness. The worst pain, though, is when in bed sleeping. Sometimes it is excruciating. If I get up and walk around, the pain goes away. Has anyone experienced and figured out a way to control the pain when sleeping? If so, I would sure appreciate some ideas.
