Other than staying in the house a lot (I do go for a walk occasionally) and a friend telling me about his cousin in another state that died from Covid 19, we have been blessed to stay healthy. Starting to get a little cabin fever though.
For us, not only staying in, we are spending more time sitting outside and enjoy a glass of wine with family or friends, keeping our social distancing. We got a call from our doctor's office this morning. We have appoints for our semi annual well check up. They wanted to know if we still wanted to come in or if we preferred to do telehealth check ups. My husbands answer was: HELL yes we want to come in. We will do almost anything to get our or the house for even an hour or so.
One positive part to all this we are catching up on reading and now tossing magazines that have been sitting around for months. We are also watching some old movies from our childhood and teen years. That is fun for sure.
We own a small business that is considered essential...hubby has health issues, so he can't go into work....that makes it hard on everyone. I go daily, as I do the "books"....have to scrub well before I go around my hubby.
The business is suffering (30 years of hard work, slowly seeping away).....because of the "stay at home" orders....hubby has been nowhere except to get iron shots periodically...so it's wearing on him, more than on me.
I'm not finding this to be a "relaxing" time at all....trying to keep our employees paid, juggling bills for the business, and hubby's health is not a relaxing combination.
