I’ve kept track and it happened around the 10th day of my cycle. After period ends, around ovulation. My pulse is around 90 to 110. It goes up faster during exercise. I have to eat light because if I don’t I have bathroom issues and my heart races more and I feel nauseous. Sometimes feel so bloated and feel like I’m having a heartache or bad anxiety. This happens at the same time almost each month. Normally my resting heart rate is in the 70’s and I have to work hard to get heart rate up. During this time (it’s usually a couple days), my heart rate stays high and goes up faster. Is this hormonal? I’m 45. Per my dr I’m not going through menopause yet.

Does it also occur at the same time as something else in your life? For example, your once a month phone call to your ex-husband to discuss the visitation schedule for the next month or your monthly all staff sales meeting or the date that all your monthly bills are due or something else.

Maybe being the tenth day of your cycle is just a coincidence.

Or maybe you are afraid of accidently getting pregnant so you are "not feeling well" and would rather not have sex around then (around ovulation).

We can always blame it on anxiety, but..

Maybe it has to do with your relative state of hydration as your estrogen levels cycle thru each month...You know how part of the month you retain fluid and then shed it. When you're less well hydrated, the blood volume is lower and the heart needs to work a little harder to push the o2 around. ….????

….or maybe it's the moon? Curious how they're both 28 days.
