I have several on each forearm, one is about an inch across. Have had them for 50 or more years.
I see a dermo every year for last 15 years for other reasons. They have no interest in the lipomas.

Never paid that close attention, but some have come and gone over some period of time.
The very first one I noticed, years ago at age 24, became fairly large on side of hip. Maybe 2 in across. It slowly reduced in size over some years time. Can barely feel it now.
Fortunately, none of mine has ever become a "cosmetic" issue.
My wife had a 1/4 inch wide small bump on her back. Two days ago, she had it surgically removed, and it was a simple cyst. It took a one inch incision and 3 stitches outside and some internal stitches to close it up--much larger than it appeared.
You should start trying to get an appointment with a dermatologist. I say start because so many of them are booked up weeks and often months ahead--high demand.
I'm not a doctor, I only watch Dr. Pimple Popper on Youtube, and my first thought was lipoma too.
You might check out some of her videos and see if you get that impression too. She has a lot of them, so be sure to narrow it down with lypoma.
It's amazing how many of the people on Dr. Pimple Popper have previously visited doctors who refuse to deal with their problem saying nothing can be done.

Thats what I thought these were (cysts), at first, but I have since learned they were not.
I did some reading on Lipomas, but everything Im reading say these do not change, especially over short periods of time, not only does the size and shape change in mine, the surface changes from smooth to rough randomly.
