I have an elderly relative with conditions who is now in the ICU. Fluid has built up in her lungs. When she first got covid, she felt okay. Now it’s gotten worse and she’s having a hard time breathing. I was curious if anyone knew what the doctors could do if anything. Just wondering if you had an idea. There’s no medicine approved for covid as far as I know.

Most of it is supportive care. People are individuals with individual health histories. What they may do for one may not be needed for another.
