Pfizer and Moderna will be producing vaccines for Covid-19. Anyone know if these are LIVE vaccines? Most flu vaccines are not live vaccines.
Heard something on the news a few days ago. Apparently the vaccines now in trial only contain specific segments of the virus DNA. You won't be able to contract it from the vaccine.
The mRNA tells your body to create ONLY the spike protein that covers the virus. Then the immune system detects and destroys these spikes, and thereby will immediately recognize the virus if it comes along and will be ready to destroy it right away. mRNA degrades quickly, within a few hours, once the lipid that will carry it breaks down.
