I have joint pain, and have to sleep surrounded by throw pillows next to my body, clutched in my arms, between my knees and ankles....besides a memory-foam topper.
I doubt it's weight. My husband is your weight at 6' tall and he sleeps OK. I hope you get resolution!
OP, you could take four Advil Liqui-gels (Ibuprofen) an hour before bed, and four Advil Liqui-gels (Ibuprofen) upon getting up from bed the next day.
And if needed, another round of Advil Liqui-gels (Ibuprofen) sometime during your day.
It works!

I do the above with pillows too. Especially a pillow or two between the knees, while lying on one's side.
Get your nutrition panel done if you haven't already. you might be deficient in calcium and/or d3. Meanwhile do some general strength training to build some muscle.
Thin doesn't mean fit. I agree it's not your bed. It's you.
I agree that a doctor visit and blood work is in order. I’m just a couple of years younger than you and weigh a bit less, no problems with pain because of size. I will say, a few years ago I had some random rib/bone type pain and found out that my vitamin d was low. The pains went away once my levels were back in range.
My BMI is 17.8, I'm skinny and my mattress needs to be replaced. Sometimes my ear hurts after sleeping on my side and sometimes it feels like my lowest rib gets caught on my hip bone after sleepimg in fetal position. That's nothing like all the discomfort you're experiencing.
You shouldn't be having so much pain at your height and weight. I don't think your mattress is the cause of your problem. Please go back and consult with your physician. Good luck finding the solution to your pain.
Sounds like you have something else going on besides just high blood sugar and high cholesterol.
There's no way losing just TEN POUNDS is going to make you feel "bony," achy, and sore when you lie down in bed, like some of sort of fragile, malnourished anorexic or extremely elderly person, which is what you make yourself sound like.
