The colonoscopy and endoscopy are up to you, but you are probably safe to skip them. As far as probiotics go, yes, keep taking them. I would, however, switch them up. Different probiotics affect different bacteria, so best to address as many as you can. They'll also be and stay more effective this way. So do the Align, and then when they run out, switch to a different probiotic until that runs out, switch back to Align, etc. There are tons of them out there. I happen to like PB8.
Also, don't overlook your diet. Even if it hasn't changed, your body changes as you get older. You may have kind of always been sensitive to dairy or gluten and never really noticed it, because your body was able to handle it. Well, after 30+ years of that, your body eventually stops being able to handle it as well. Wouldn't hurt to try eliminating some things for a while just to see.
I have to ask how you know OP is "probably safe to skip them." This comes very close to giving dangerous medical advice online. Unless, of course, you are a gastroenterologist who has examined OP and knows his medical history. But I missed the part where you said that.
