The best performing vaccines are around 95 percent effective, and of those who do have what's known as the "breakthrough" cases and still get the virus, their cases are almost always asymptomatic to mild, so I hope that's the case in your uncle's case.
The idea of course is by vaccinating as many people as quickly as possible, the virus runs out of vectors to infect and mutations to form and eventually dies down.
My mom just told me he is quarantined with covid...
Unsure which vaccination he got , but apparently the vaccine does not prevent covid...
What does your uncle do that got him vaccinated at 54 years old with a vaccine months ago? I am 69 years old and got my vaccine months ago.
