Should taxes or other government funds still be used to cover COVID-19 related hospital costs for those individuals that either refuse to be vaccinated or are just to lazy/stupid to get vaccinated?
I am not sure how all of the USA has made the vaccine available, but it seems you can go almost anywhere and get a free vaccine.
And on the same line, should employers still be forced to pay medical costs associated with Covid for employees that refuse to get vaccinated?
Good question! Right off the bat my emotions say NO. Their choice to remain unvaccinated.
But how that would play out in real life, is another story. May be detrimental to society since this thing is contagious. Unlike other health risks people knowingly take (obesity, smoking, etc.).
Here's an even more basic question: should taxpayer funds be used for ANY health care expenses of anyone but the indigent, wards of the state, qualified veterans, military personnel, etc.?
As for employers, I don't think they're forced to pay for COVID health care expenses for unvaccinated employees, since most employers can fire non-vaccinated people. However, I've heard that if an employee is ordered to get a shot and is injured by that shot, it's a workers' comp claim. As it should be.
But for a case of COVID, whether someone is vaccinated or not, the person would use their health insurance if they have it. It's not a direct expense to the employer. I'm not an HR expert, but that's how I understand it.
Final question: if the vaccines cause long-term health problems, should people who didn't participate in this experiment be forced to help pay for those medical expenses, since the manufacturers are immune from claims?

Agreed and NO...average Covid hospital cost ranges from 51K to 78K...WOW!
