If you have serious migraines, you might want to think about altering your diet.

Why migraine sufferers may want to eat more fish
By Anahad O'ConnorA diet high in omega-3s, the fats found in fish, and low in omega-6s, found in many vegetable oils, led to fewer headaches.

Some good news for migraine sufferers-
If my own case is anything to go by, they DO sometimes clear up themselves (at least the headache part does) without any change of diet or anything..

I had attacks every couple of months for 40 years since my teens, with classic flashing neon signs in front of my eyes for about half an hour, followed soon afterwards by a splitting headache for about 8 hours.
When the neons appeared I used to pop a couple of aspirins or paracetamols, they didn't stop the neons, but luckily they dulled the headache quite a lot and I was able to go about my daily life normally.

But in the last few years I decided as an experiment to see if I still needed asps/paras, so I didn't take any when when the neons appeared, and to my surprise I got no headache afterwards..
