I am a man and I went to for a therapeutic massage for stress relief. They advertise as giving ethical massages. Well she touched my privates twice. Each time I said not there and guided her to elsewhere on my body. She complied but ended the massage shortly after. Instead of an hour massage i got 45. Otherwise she was cordial but confused. I told her im in a relationship and not interested. Arrgh I deliberately researched to make sure its a legit massage. I gave a tip and left as I did not want a scene. I kind want to forget about this but im feeling confused. This is the 3rd time this has happened at different establishments Now I think I am no longer going to do massages anymore. Ridiculous. I just have kept this to myself.

That seems oddly specific unless instead of "walk" you meant to write "work".

I find it odd that a massage place feels the need to advertise "ethical massages". To me that's an immediate red flag as that should be the baseline, not a selling point. Have you read any of its reviews prior to going, OP? You say you've researched this place, but given this has happened to you three times now, perhaps there's something you're missing? I've been to about a couple dozen different massage places in my life and have never had this issue (with one exception that shocked the hell out of me because of where it was located and the overall legit look of the place, but once I politely declined, the massage quality didn't change), but I generally do my research and tend to avoid establishments in questionable locations.

Massage schools are great if you don't have any back issues or are just getting a light Swedish. Anything deep-tissue from an inexperienced therapist can really mess you up if they are still learning.

I prefer Asian massage because they do long strokes from upper back to your leg. I research because there is a stigma with Aian masssage therapists for not being legit. Yeah the posts have good points. Maybe a neck and shoulder massage on a chair is the answer.

Yes there are google and yelp reviews given by both sexes and couples.

I feel like it's also laziness by the massuese. Shorten the massage and still get paid if you know what i mean. I just hope no one saw me come out. How embarrassing.

If the massage was otherwise satisfactory you could make it clear up front what you want and what you don't want. Not in the middle, but before you even get out of your clothes. Based on their reaction and the subsequent massage, you'll know whether that place is going to work for you. If it does, tip accordingly.
