I plan to get it, but I’m in no big hurry.

I had an appointment at Walgreens last week at lunch. Huge crowd, I just had to leave.

I’ve been wiped out for at least two days since the initial shot. If I can get a rainy looking Friday and cold weekend, I’ll get it then. I know I won’t be doing anything that weekend anyway.

Feel better soon. I had fatigue for a full 24 hours from the initial Moderna vaccine. 3 days of feeling unwell.

I got the Phizer a week ago; I was a little tired the next day, but no big deal. My arm didn't hurt nearly as much as it did from the flu shot a week before (I wanted them both the same day, but they were out of the covid vax, so I had to come back).

My wife and I just got both the Pfizer and the flu shot on Friday, one in each arm. I honestly can't remember which I got in which arm, both were sore but just for that afternoon and the next morning. My wife found the side effect to be mostly sleepiness. For me it was a bit achy, and a mild fever of 99-100.5 on Saturday. When I woke up Sunday it was if it never happened, back to normal.

I had mine Tuesday afternoon. I can5 recall which shot went into what arm. My right arm felt sorer than my left one but now my left arm feels sore too. I’m hoping by tomorrow, they’ll be better. Feel tired too though I did manage to clear the 4 steps from basement to outside of a bunch of leaves, picked up a bit after dogs. Later - made dinner. Now tired again.

I am off Sunday, Monday and Wednesday from work but also took Tuesday off just in case I need to rest.
A friend of mine had both the booster and flu jabs last week, and he felt really sick afterward for several days. I do not recommend getting them at the same time.

All I know is this is a Covid second booster that I am supposed to receive Friday evening. I dread taking it. I view the Covid vaccines as "possibly" the lesser of two evils. We really do not know what will be the long term effects of these vaccines.

I normally have my flu shot in very early October, and I have not had flu for many years, but I also am not around a lot of people each week. I am sure that helps. This year I read that one is better off waiting until November to have the flu jab, so that is what I plan to do, especially since I will have the Covid jab day after tomorrow.

Upshot is even if you are very healthy, I still would not recommend getting both at once and making your immune system fight both virus at the same time. I planned to have the flu shot on November 1st. I hope that is not too soon after I have the Covid booster Friday.

After the very first jab, I had a very sore arm but overall did not feel too awful. I had a slight fatigue, but I suffer from fatigue anyway, so I really could not blame the vaccine until about a day or two later. I went outside to mow the lawn, and the fatigue hit me really, really hard.

With the second and third jabs, I had a sore arm and a bit of fatigue but nothing very serious. My arm stayed sore for several days after each shot. The worst one was the first shot. My arm stayed quite sore for a good week following that first jab. I will have the 4th jab Friday evening. I hope the reaction is very mild. I have too much to do to become very fatigued.
