I just had the bivalent booster two weeks ago. I was extremely tired the next day, achy all over, slight headache, didn't do much that day but lay around which I haven't done in AGES so it was actually a nice excuse for a break. I had it done at Walgreens and the person that gave the shot was too rough and jabbed so hard I bled pretty bad and she had to clean it up. i should have known better than to have it at a pharmacy as I have had bad luck before with vaccines there. One other time at a pharmacy I had a flu shot several years ago and my shoulder was swollen and black/blue/purple for six weeks.
I have strong reactions to every covid vaccine I have had. The second vaccine was horrific, with shaking chills, tachycardia, knee felt like it was broken, fever of 101. Lasted 72 hours. All the rest it's just been the headaches, body aches, fatigue that lasts a day and then it's all good.
Not thrilled about getting all these vaccines but I have not had covid yet knock on wood. I'm really doing it more out of concern for my husband who has pulmonary fibrosis, rheumatoid arthritis, and an immune deficiency disorder. He doesn't make antibodies to the covid vaccines so he gets Evushield to help his immune system.

If I lived further south where it’s warmer, I might have waited longer to get the shots in November. Now I can wear my heavier duty hoodies without trouble of uncovering to expose arm/s for the shot/s. I feel a draft just thinking about it.

I got the flu and the Moderna bivalent boosters on Tuesday. I got the first two rounds of Moderna back in late winter 2021. I got sick as a dog after the second one and had no interest in getting any of the other boosters, especially since they were for the original virus and things had progressed through Delta and several Omicron variants.
I decided to get this booster since it includes Omicron and I believe the number of Covid cases will increase this winter. Sore arms and felt lousy yesterday with a bad headache. I feel much better today.
I have never had Covid, whereas most of the people around me have.

I got my booster and I was mildly affected. I woke up the next day a little tired, a bit of vertigo and a mild headache that were all gone by the end of the day.
The previous booster kicked my ass, it was only a day, but I felt like crap. My husband and I got COVID last year, but it was mild and only lasted a day or two. So for us the vaccines are worth it.

MrsM and I got Moderna Bivalent boosters and quadravalent flu vaccines Tuesday. (We got booster and flu same time last year)
My COVID arm is sore as always. Flu arm nowhere as bad. Yesterday I felt puny and arm hurt like hell. MrsM tired and chills all day yesterday. She stayed in bed all day. (Very unusual for her. Normally, I am sick as hell day after COVID shots, this time I was OK)
Today, both of us are feeling great, except for sore arm.
MUCH better than getting COVID!

After a couple days, both arms have improved.

I had the booster tonight. So far, all I feel is a little pain in my arm, but I expected that. I expect it will feel worse over the next two days, and I will have some fatigue and that is all. By day 3, I think I will be back to normal. I will post again if anything unexpected happens.

I got the flu shot earlier this month, followed 8 days later with the Pfizer bivalent shot.
No reactions except soreness at the injection site and slight fatigue.

^^^ I always feel muscle stiffness/soreness and joint pain, but I have that anyway. It is worse after both the Covid and the flu jabs. With the very first Covid jab, I expected a lot of fatigue but did not notice any until a day or so later I mowed the lawn, and it hit me really hard at that point. I think I was over it in about 5-7 days, including muscle stiffness/soreness, joint pain, and fatigue.
One of my friends contracted 2 strains of Covid at once in 2020. It took her a solid 6 weeks before she felt like she was beginning to recover at all. She told me then that if anyone would have told her she would have to endure another 2 weeks in that condition, she would have rather died. I think that is pretty strong testimony as to how awful it was to suffer 2 strains at once.
Someone else I knew contracted Covid twice in the first year and recovered both times. One of his family members contracted it and sadly perished. I think a lot of people have already forgotten just how many people have died of Covid so far.
