Roselvr, thanks again for your input. Oh, I got all the dates & a summary of all this typed down. In fact, I just submitted the New Patient forms online, so it's received on their end when I arrive.
I'd be surprised if she doesn't give me at least an MRI too. I'll bring the CD-ROM of my regular x-ray done at urgent care...the one in which that dr said he saw nothing. Oh & still no call from them either when they said they'd have a 2nd pair of eyes look at my x-ray.
I had a recent blood test done just on Sept 30th. I suspect TV dr may want a blood test done, so I already had that done & can give her the results of that if she asks...once my GP's ofc gives them to me.
& again, I actually like my GP herself. I just don't like the slowness & no sense of urgency of the ofc staff ladies. (I used to see another dr in that same ofc, so I think those were the same or most of the same 3-5 ladies back then & things weren't like that back then. But that was pre-COVID, so COVID seems to have disrupted & changed the operations of things ion general.)
In the meantime, I'm relaxing as much as I can this weekend, then we have a holiday on Mon, then appt on Tues!

Update #3
Saw TV dr (took 1.5 hrs since traffic was slow pretty much the whole way) & I like her. She ordered an MRI, x-ray (which I shouldn't have to take again since I did at my urgent care), & consult w/ this other dr for my swolleness (edema). Unfortunately, I wasn't able to get anything else done while I was in the area that day (I'm kind of a far drive). Will have to go to 2 different facilities for these next actions. One facility only has 1 location, but the other, I can go to this closer city still at least 35 min away. My insurance covers it all, thank God! So I shouldn't have to still tk my ultrasound that my GP ordered, which FINALLY came through the other day, so that took 3 wks to finally get the go-ahead to mk that appt.
Next step...finding out results of MRI, etc. & the course of action to take.

Oh, I am SOOO HAPPY for you, that it all worked out!
I'm thankful she ordered the tests, even the redo x-ray because you could have re-injured it since the urgent care. Thankful she ordered an MRI too. At least she sounds competent!
I didn't think you'd have issues with insurance covering the testing but you never know. Glad to hear they'll pay for it!
Did you see the doctor on TV (Dr. Ebonie Vincent) or another one?
Sorry it took you so long to get there but so thankful you saw someone reputable! It's time to figure out what's wrong with your foot/leg.
I'm so happy for you FB!

Thank you, Roselvr for being interested in my situation! Yes, md sure to request Dr. V herself. I wasn't going to go through all that to see some other dr in the ofc.
Re: x-rays, I'll only tk the MRI & not the regular x-ray since they said it was fine to just send over the CD-ROM results of it from when I took it at urgent care. Hopefully, I won't need to tk the ultrasound either that finally came through on my GP's side. The MRI should show it all & I have the appt md...in 1.5 wks. I don't want to tk too many x-rays w/ all the radiation & all. I'm still waiting on them to get approval so I can schedule my vascular consult (for the sweilling aka edema). I already have the order, so I don't know why I can't just show them, but they needed auth from the dr still for some reason & then call me back.
Also, my urgent care where I got the regular x-ray from said they need my dr to req the report & results, so I had them req it, but then they were told the urgent care CAN'T send it to them. I called my urgent care right back & asked why since I was just told as long as my dr req it. They never gave an answer, so I'll have to pick up the report & CD-ROM one day here to mail it on myself when urgent care could easily just send it straight to them...don't know what happened there.
But the ofc of the TV dr is fast & operates like a dream! If only ALL drs' offices were like that. We'd ALL be happy campers!
& I already asked how it works when the results come through. I don't have to actually go back (to TV dr in-person). I can reqest a phone call, which is nice (or for fee of I think $75, I can request a video call).
I'll keep you posted.

Oh wow, you got to see the TV doc! Lucky you! Were you star struck? Did you ask for her autograph LMAO
I'm very happy to hear she and her office are so thorough. Glad it's all working out.
Insurance should cover the telemed appointment too. My insurance does. You should check to see if yours does.
I can't believe the BS you have to go through just to get something done no matter where you go. I got records from my urgent care but they didn't give me my xray for some reason. Thankfully my foot doctor didn't need it.
I saw him yesterday and guess what? He's talking to me about my broken toe, I told him I watch my feet are killing me so yes, I understand what he's saying. He told me he taught both Dr Brad and Dr Sarah! LMFAO!
I said, I don't understand why Brad always has Sarah in the OR but Sarah doesn't have him in there, he said that just because he has a TV show doesn't mean he's any good LMFAO!!! Apparently Dr Sarah was a very good student though lol
I broke my toe at the big joint, that's why it's now doubled in size. He said he could fuse it when it hurts too much to walk. I said no thanks for now, he agreed. He fixed up my thick toe nails which is from trauma. Nice not having them sticking up, walking was different after he shaved them down. He bagged a sample of nail from one to check for fungus, he said if there is any it's not bad. He does think my right thumb has some sort of fungus was going to give me an oral med but I'm not seeing that it was sent over so I'll have to call his office.

I passed your thread by a few times because I don't have experience with it but one day decided to look since it's by you. I was following your other issue so I said ok let me see lol
I'm happy I was actually able to help you with Dr Vincent and helping to get you to get the care you deserve as a human being.

Roselvr, sorry about your broken big toe, ouch! Coincidentally, my boss just returned from being out for a month having foot surgery. She apparently had a fractured foot for the last 3 yrs & I guess never knew it until I'm sure the pain hit her eventually.
Anyway, no not starstruck at all. I acted like she was a regular dr, but I was of course very nice, appreciative of her help, etc. In fact, I didn't even mention that I watch her show. I guess I should have, but the visit was kind of fast-paced, so I wanted to make sure I got in what I wanted to tell/show her.
My urgent care actually gave me a CD-ROM of my x-ray the day I went there, so I always have it. But now I still need to return to get another CD-ROM & report along w/ it to send over to TV dr.
I got all my appts set & I've decided to keep them all:
10/22 - MRI that TV dr wants
10/24 - Ultrasound that finally came through from my GP (on 1 foot because at the time, my other foot hadn't started getting swollen)
11/16 but hopefully can bump it up some - Vascular consult including ultrasound on both feet that TV dr wants (because my other foot had started getting swollen since)
Let's see what ea dr has to say about it all!

I probably would have told her she's much prettier in person. I don't know if I get star struck. Don't recall ever meeting one except back stage at a poison concert, I didn't go up to any of them. Since I mentioned the show yesterday, I'd probably mention it when seeing one of the doctors too.
It's a drag having to wait a month for the vascular doctor.
Yes, broken toe sucks. I don't usually take frustration out on objects but kicked a door that day. My daughter pushed my buttons way too much. lol I don't fess up to it though, said I dropped something on it.

UPDATE #4
As of yesterday, 10/24, I've completed all 3 types of x-rays:
- regular x-ray
- MRI (for ankle not fully flexing for some reason due to old injury)
- ultrasound (for swelling aka edema)
So I told TV dr (podiatrist) so far & her office will inform me of the next step (by giving the phone call to me) when they get all the CD-ROMs & their reports along w/ them. My GP will get all those results soon too.
