His best bet is to find a charity. Some people in other countries will do social media posts and videos to try to get it to go viral so that charities or US doctors will see it. It works for some of them with these disfiguring illnesses. Sometimes doctors have gone to their countries to help. I'm talking people being eaten by large tumors, some who have that tree limb disease, stuff like that.
There are many charities that do this. Have your friend see if there is an organization for the disease he has, they may help.
