Do people think your older or younger than your actual age? (itchy, alcohol)

What does this mean? Boomers don't look as old as their parents did when they were 70? That's probably true. Women in particular used to dress and wear their hair in old-looking styles when they were still comparatively young...as young as 30 if my own mom, who was born in 1926, is any example. Those short hairstyles and house dresses really aged women. And it didn't get better as they got older.

Or do you mean they don't look as old as they are to each other? I suppose that could also be true. I wouldn't know.

Or they don't look as old as they are to younger people? Very doubtful. I know many, many boomers but I don't think I have ever mistaken someone born in the late 40s or 1950s for someone of my own era.

I have no clue. I haven’t ever asked and it rarely comes up in conversation. I think I look my age but it’s so subjective as some people my age look older, some look younger , so

In terms of my mother, she didn’t look older than me at the same age, her style and hair was always pretty cool.

When I look in the mirror in low light and without my glasses I look way,way younger than my actual age. Practically youthful.

But then those darn lying photographs add years and pounds...

I don't know what most people think, though I have been told recently by one person they were surprised by my age (on a work document) because they thought I was a lot younger.

Earlier on some people thought I was 10 years younger, then as I aged maybe a few years younger (not that this came up often, but it did come up sometimes).

I still laugh at one doctor's note that read "appears of stated age" which I was fine with, considering I was in my thirties at the time!

There may be some who thought I looked older, and maybe that day I did--same probably holds true now.

Depends! I ususally dont shave for 2 or 3 weeks at a time, people think Im older than 53. I shave and people think Im younger than 53.
