I think this is one of the hardest jobs in the medical field. It's harder than any specialist in my opinion because they treat many different medical problems. It's like they have to know about everything. I just came back because my finger tip was swollen. It's called cellulitis. They had to put a needle to get the puss out. I got an injection and antibiotics. It was really swollen, red, and warm. I been to this clinic before for many other reasons. It's easier to make appointments than at a physician's office since I can just go there the same day. What is the difference between a nurse practitioner who works at Immediate Care compared to one that works at a Physician's office? I didn't know that a nurse who works at a dermatologist office can also work at Immediate Care. I thought it was considered a different field they had to study. I saw the same nurse I used to see at a dermatologist office.
