Everyone here is VERY smart!
I'm gonna come here first when I have a problem...cuz a doc's appt can take a couple weeks anyway!

Couple things in all this are words I have not seen ,maybe missed them, that helps in
the elimination process...any doc uses.
Dizzy, yes...never the words ''woozy or faint...felt like I was gonna pass out''. To me that would cross off a few things...
Severe low blood pressure would be one. Look up POTS. He hasn't said when he walks or stands up
his heart beats fast...so no real need, yet, for a Blood Pressure cuff purchase.

Also, no ''I'm extremely irritable'''. That would cross off Low Blood Sugar.
Middle ear fluid, btw, it's not 'inner ear' ...sounds close, BUT he has said nothing about hearing fluid in his ear!
No tenderness with pressure around that entire jaw ear area...after a long while there would be some.
Dang. So, Meniere's is now questionable, too!
Low potassium? He didn't mention weakness, tho. Hmm.

I love these mysteries..I'll be tuning back in to see what the doc finds out.

I can see the OP writing all these diseases down and presenting them to his or her doctor, who will ignore them and simply order a blood test, which will probably tell the tale.

I have a friend who's a family physician, and she always asks patients what they think their diagnosis is. Hey, she says, cuts my work in half and very often they're right.

With google, sensible people very often are in the close hunt for what's ailing them, if only to be able to rule out some possibilities and understand what symptoms to consider.

I can see that with a constellation of symptoms that point to one diagnosis but, again, this is a very vague symptom that could be any one of a million things...

Report back, OP!

On a side note-

Took a month for Three separate doctors to resolve my "dizzyness". was put on antibiotics, was given nausea deterrent meds. And yes one doctor even gave a placebo because he honestly thought I was making an issue where there was none. My Mom laughed when she saw the prescription...she said-- He prescribed a "sugar" pill. I said What's a sugar pill? She said- It appeases the patient and makes the Doctor look sweet for writing a script.

Yes I think the Physician should ask the patient - since its their body and they know themselves on what is "off and What is their normal.

I was diagnosed with Menieres' and have since learned how to endure it and lessen some of the symptoms.

You can't tell if your blood pressure drops by heart rate.

If you have severe LBP already, when you stand and walk your heart beats super fast.
Tachycardia is the 'T' in POTS. But, you would also feel faint!
He hasn't mentioned that, as I recall.
The heart beats super fast to get blood to your organs and brain...but it's hard with pressure so low, from
the legs all the way up to the brain...oh boy.

I did forget - an easy way to test if there is fluid in the middle ear is to take a Sudafed...
if later the veritgo, dizziness goes away ...yippee.
Sudafed will dry everything-- ears, nose eyes.
It's behind the Pharmacists counter..no problem, when you say you have fluid in the ear, you show ID.

I'm not saying that is the issue, could be something none of us dreamed of!

There is a difference between low blood pressure that a person has all the time, and orthostatic hypotension, in which the blood pressure drops only with positional changes. It is not always or even usually accompanied by fast heart rate.
