What a great way to end up paralyzed, or with a stroke!!!!!

No way in hell some quack will ever do that to me

I have felt some relief and progress since I've been going.

However I plan to discontinue because I don't feel like I need to be going in as often as I'm going and I feel improvement. I also have other things going on with my health that's not Chiropractic related that I want to spend more time on.

Also this is a bit expensive and I want to start saving money. This is costing me $300.00 a month.

I called the clinic and told them I want to take a hiatus.

The girl said, "What do you mean? Is everything okay?"

I briefly told her it's been some things going on financially and what not.

She told me,

"I still want you to come to your appointment on Wednesday and I'll have you talk to one of the techs because I don't want you to just stop coming in. We can address the finances and work something out for you."

I agreed. I will go, but I still want to inform them that I want to take a break. Perhaps not indefinitely but for a period.

What do you guys think?

I would not go back. Tell them you can't afford it right now, that you're feeling like it benefited you but that you have to stop. You won't sign on for more to end up with a bill you can't pay.

You sound like a massage may be what you need.

I know you've had health issues, the chiro was suggested. You tried. Move on from this one. He's stringing you along. Some do things like that. 3 months was enough time to be cut back to once or twice a week for the issue you have.

DCT,

No one on a forum can diagnose you. And I don't think chiropractors are quacks. They certainly can help with things like pinched nerves and the sort. Admittedly once the initial issue is gone, it's best to learn how to do things to prevent issues and engage in your own self care. Assuming you don't have bone density issues, you might want to learn stretches and self myofascial release to help with your ailments. Depending on what you do on a daily basis, having someone check the ergonomics of your work environment could also be helpful. And then you could look at your sleep habits and make sure that's not doing something to aggravate your body.

Hope this helps.
