That's awful! I decided to post this as a warning in case people didn't read about it. My friend had cellulitis in his leg (not from swimming), it got infected, he was in the hospital for a week with antibiotics, medicated cream for his leg, and they even wrapped his leg in honey to kill the infection. Afterward he spent time in a nursing home for physical therapy to improve his walking before he came home. We heard recently the nursing home is closing because they aren't making any money, it's been a well rated nursing home in our community for years.
