News keeps coming out about the Big Belly and Dememtia link in old age. A 27 year study showed those in their 30's and 40's who were obese especially in the belly were 74% greater at getting Dementia into their older years.

Heed the warnings .......

This is an interesting concept, espacially since my DH has a very large belly, and the beginning signs of dementia.

Nicely put Sunny . Lots of info coming out that is showing how the Visceral fat cells are metabolically active and producing Pro Inflammatory signals like Cytokines, Leukotrienes and Tumor Necrosis Factor etc......

Anyway interesting stuff as science unravels this .

That's too bad Marianinark about your Hubby and Dementia.
