My left eye started twitching this last week and it's happening more and more often as the days go on. Anyone have this happen and know why? My guess is stress which I have in spades at the moment. Tell me?

I get it too but I have no real idea why. Stress would be a guess but I also wonder if it is something about high blood pressure which I'm told I have. The last time I had it it was my left eye which is lazy. I asked my eye doc and he didn't have anything to offer.

It will be interesting to see the replies.

I used to get that eye twitching as a kid..really wrecked my self-esteem way back then. I can't remember the last time I had it as an adult.

I get them once in a blue moon, for a few min. then it's gone. I don't think it has anything to do with blood pressure, i've never had a problem with mine.
More likely it's nerve related. I wouldn't worry about it for now.

Every now and then my eye will twitch as well. For most people it's just an annoying involuntary muscle spasm caused primarily because of nerves that are irritated but if it seems to get much worse than I would consult your primary eye physician.

I had constant tics on two different occasions. Both times, I started wellbutrin (for something else) and they went away.

I already take wellbutrin but today was much better. Doesn't make sense because I had a more stressful day than usual today and more coffee?
