My sincere sympathies.
There is always hummus. Maybe some gelato? Canned fruit and cottage cheese?

I remember being pretty swollen for awhile.
Thanks. I plan to park on the couch all weekend and watch season 4 of the Gilmore Girls on DVD. If things get really bad, we'll push it to season 5!

She's probably chowing on crunchy tacos and steaks by now. That happens sometimes after almost 3 years go by after the surgery! LOL! Care for some pork rinds, Debsi?

I got mine done in the military and had such bad pain that I ate pain pills and water for 3 days. After that they were healed enough to eat anything besides really hard stuff like corn chips and the like.
Ick. I'm getting two upper wisdom teeth pulled in December. Had gum surgery last year and some soft foods I had that weren't mentioned here include avocado and spinach souffle (frozen stouffers.) Both were a nice change from totally smooth dairy and felt like I was getting some different nutrients. I know this is an older post but it still could be helpful for others searching - like me in a couple of months!
