coconut oil is supposed to help speed up your metabolism and help stabilize cholesterol and helps with thyroid issues as well. I was a bit skeptical about it till my SIL started for her thyroid and she said she feels much better and she lost weight too. She is down 15lbs and she has more energy. I am trying it now and we had it with our corn on the cob lastnight for dinner. Just rubbed it on the corn wrapped in foil and put on the grill. My son ate it and commented on how good it was. I finally told him that i used coconut oil when he was done eating. He hates coconuts, and it did not have a coconut taste, just brought out the natural sweetness of the corn. Also I just had some in my green tea. I couldn't taste it which was nice. The only draw back is that it made my lips greasy, but other than that no bad after taste which I can live with.
