Might be a good idea since Diet and Exercise go hand in hand, it might be good for people who need separate advice.

My vote is YES, but as a sub of the Exercise and Fitness forum. There's a lot of advice there on diets when it comes to weight loss.

Would it be a Diet/Weight Loss - or Diet for Weight Loss sub-forum?

If I wanted to post, for example, a question on a diet to improve my cholesterol levels would that go in Diet/Weight Loss? (It's Diet, but not Weight Loss)....Or should it stay in Health & Wellness?

i think it would be a good idea. there are a lot of us who are always interested in how others seem to find weight loss success, while we stumble along!

I would love it! After two kids I am not the size four I once was and would love some daily motivation to finally lose 10 pounds and get back there! Kudos to the idea! I just hate to diet...

Hmm, I think we'd call it "Diet and Weight Loss." Your question could go into either forum, I suppose.

I think having this sub-forum here would be better, since more posters write about diet here than in the Exercise and Fitness forum. However, we could create a permanent link to the Diet forum in the Exercise and Fitness forum.
