I ask this question because I have epilepsy and I think I had my very worst seizure yesterday as far as injuries go.
I have not been able to drive for a few months so I walked up to the drug store to get my medicine. Cannot drive because I have been having so many seizures. Ok, I got my meds, I walkd out the door, and that is all I remember. When I woke up, I had an iv and I was in an ambulance.
They tried to get me to go to the hospital but I refused. I have no insurance.
My injuries consist of bumps and bruises, soreness, many abrasions, and a lot of missing skin.
I had the seizure in a parking lot. Some men across the street saw and called 911. Both knees, all joints of the hands. Both elbows, my chin.

Clean open areas with warm water and anti-bacterial soap, as long as the area is only mildly abrased. Pat dry and put some triple antibiotic ointment on them.Cover w/guaze or bandaid.
If you have alot of skin/underlying tissue gone, you should see a doctor. You can keep the areas clean in the mean time with saline (drug store)and then cover w/guaze.
You can buy arnica (gel in a tube) for minor soreness, bruising, etc. to help those heal.
Let your doc know that you're still having seizures w/the medications you're on. He'll be able to adjust them to get things right for you. Sorry about your fall.

Ya, stress can really hurt your mind and body. Try not to let it get to you! (Hard to do, easy to say).
