I believe Health and Fitness would go better.
Because wellness sounds like health to me.

Health & Wellness makes me think of a 40 year old lady wearing eclectic clothes and living in an eclectic house with lots of dream catchers hanging in her windows and a cabinet full of questionably effective herbal remedies with labels claiming to cure every ailment known to man.
Health & Fitness makes me think of a 40 year old lady wearing a black and shiny gym jumpsuit in a new house where every room is painted builder beige w/ white trim and there is a cabinet full of questionably effective diet supplements with labels claiming to cure every eating disorder known to man.
Maybe create a category called "Active Lifestyles" and another "Health and Wellness". I think that ties together more closely with relocation research. People who do alot of hiking could be asking for input on hikers on where they might like to visit. People in Health and Wellness might ask about alternative treatment facilities and where might they be for a particular condition.

You know what "Active Lifestyles" brings to my mind? A couple in their early 60's, wearing sensibly long, fashionable yet functional shorts, with sweaters tied around their shoulders, going for a "power walk" in their high tech sneakers!!
I also suspect you just insulted a great deal of forty year old women!

Hmmmm. They both carry different connotations to me as well. Health & Wellness sounds like it's dealing with a lot of alternative methods, and improving the mind, body and soul. Sort of like a Self-Help thread. Whereas Health & Fitness to me connotes strictly exercise and physical activity. So I suppose it depends on what we see as the purpose of this forum. I'm tempted to say Personal Health to cover it all, but then that to me sounds like it would be more a place for people to discuss their various ailments.
So I guess after all of that rambling, I've solved nothing.

To us.....either is fine. We just think it is great that there is a new Thread like this.
I will say this also: I haven't been involved with very many Forums, but this Forum is absolutely great. The Administrators and you folks (like myself/my wife) that use and "inform" on this Forum are great. We have found some great information on this Forum! Please keep up the great work all of you!!!

I hope they could detect the jestful tone in my message I meant no disrespect. Honestly, I'm in my early thirties, yet I'm married to a wonderful woman in her early forties.

I prefer Health and Wellness. I actually was pleasantly surprised when I saw the title. I agree with dullnboring that the wellness thing addresses the mind/body connection. Whereas the 'health' part of the equation covers the more general physical stuff.
I understand what Sean says but agree with FuzzyMystic.
