LONDON, Jan. 28 (UPI) -- Medications bought over the Internet can be fake and contain shoe polish or chalk as well as support terrorism, a British researcher says.
In an editorial in the February issue of the International Journal of Clinical Practice, Dr. Graham Jackson said Britain's Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency estimates nearly 62 percent of the prescription medicines offered on the Internet -- without the need for a prescription -- are fakes.
