Now that I've started running again, I'm eating a lot of pasta, but it seems to burn right off. People who exercise a lot need fuel. I don't think I'm going to get enough from salads...

I personally find fat to be a better source of fuel. When you exercise you can def. get away with eating more. Most ppl don't exercise consistently and for those ppl calorie restriction and esp grain/sugar restriction is advised.

Yeah i may take Resveratrol later on although i do take Grape Seed Extract which has some in it.

I have to admit that the aging process hasn't effected me much as although i'm 44 most tell me i look like i'm in my 30's and energy levels are still late 20ish. Must be all the years of Green Tea and Supplements and exercising from weight lifting to playing racquetball/basketball etc. just staying active and having fun like i did back in high school.

Then again maybe it's listening to all that 80's rock music ......Twisted Sister .

Resveratol I think prevents cellular aging as opposed to physical signs of it. The most potent anti-ager is staying active/exercise and listening to good 80s music. Sounds like you got it pegged down..haha

Fat is not a good source of fuel. It is much harder to break down.

I understand, but if you are doing any type of endurance training like running or biking, you can't survive on that. You'll just hit the wall.

I walk and do interval training but nothing like long distance running.

I also think ppl have different metabolisms based on race, ethnicity, nationality, and just individual dietery needs. Hence metabolic typing being the future for diets for certain individuals.
