Go to the doctor and get checked up. No one can diagnose you on the internet. All they can tell you is yes, it -could- be this, or it -could- be that. It -could- be pregnancy, or SLD (whatever that is), or cancer, or hormonal. A visit to a doctor will let you know what it is, exactly.
im 21 years old.. i am usually very regular.. i get my mentrual cycle every 1st of the month.. but in December i got it twice.. they were both extremely heavy.. and now i got it again.. and its dark brown almost black colored blood with many clots... what can it be? im tirede as well and always hungry and migraines... please help me
You need to see a doctor, NOW. This could get worse.
One cause, it may not be yours, is anemia. The blood just doesn't clot enough to line the uterus and then you have a flow. This can quickly get worse as you lose more and more blood. If this is the problem, your doctor will prescribe something to increase the clotting ability of your blood.
Think of it this way......if you had a cut on your leg, and it bled on and off for a while, would you think it normal? Or would you have a doctor look for a cause?
Irregular periods are a usual thing for a lot of women. There is no problem with just being irregular. The problem comes when the periods get shorter and last with big flows. Every four or six weeks could be "normal" but every two weeks or 10 days may be a sign of problems.
Are you overweight? If so, and have insulin resistance, it could be PCOS, but that is something that only a doc can dx. Anything I can think of that it could be can only be dx'ed by a doc.
hi i had my period on the 1st of this month and i just got my period today on the 20th again! what do you think is the problem??
How old are you? How many days is it normally from the first day of one period to the first day of the next for you? Are you using any hormonal contraception?
If this is just the first cycle you have had that is shorter than usual, all you need to do is keep a calendar of your periods for the next 3 to 4 cycles: when they start, when they finish, how heavy they are, any cramps.
I would go to the OBGYN ASAP for a check-up and have it looked at, really ... Also, if you get your period more than every 20-28 days, be careful you don't experience fatigue or any weakness- you may need extra iron in your diet ... I take, "Slow-Fe". It's an over-the-counter, one a day.
If you don't have insurance, Planned Parenthoods are excellent.
I am 19 years old, i recently skipped my period for all of September then i started on Oct.5 to 10th then started again on the 13th to 15th what could that mean?
