I happen to find a receding hairline on a man attractive. Yet many men seem so obsessed about losing their hair. I also find lack of confidence unattractive and have met men who were self conscious about their thinning hair and that was a turn-off to me. It's just hair- it's superficial and has zero importance to me.
What is up with you guys and hair? What does it mean to you? And how do you women feel about it?
im a guy (32) and i have a full head of hair, and judging by my dad/granddads, i should have my hair for quite a while, although im starting to notice some gray hairs which is worrying me a bit.

Reason: spelling
Just for the heck of it, I put "have him shave it if it starts thinning."
My husband has tons of hair, especially for his age (54), but it was already grey at the temples at age 25 and is salt-and-pepper now.
I kind of admire the shaved style and think it is much preferable to comb-overs.
Isn't hair weaving expensive?
My husband wastes a large amount of energy worrying about his hair. both of his parents have thin hair, and his dad's forehead has been behind his ears for more than 20 years.
Much like with a woman, the hair does not make the man. It's whats on the inside that counts.
I think it's a thowback to being young when we (men) had hair and could play with it and be cool n' stuff.
Mine used to be so thick and unruly....wild red hair, but about 20 it went through a recession stage and it receded a bit at the temples. Then it stopped. It seemed to tie into my chest and arms suddenly becoming wolfman as I'd been relatively smooth until I was 20 and then suddenly I got a full hairy chest and my arms could supply hair transplants for fifty men (so could my a$$!!!!! )!
Then it stopped. It's thinner but still there. I prefer my hair short and usually keep it short now. I let it grow long this past year, but then I hit the "can't stand it stage" and cut it all off. I think many men look better with crewcut hair, especially if it's thinning and receding heavily. I would just go crewcut if it were me and spray sunscreen on my head.
I'd be surprised to see anyone choose a comb-over. Those look so ridiculous! Have you ever seen a "comb-over" go swimming, and these looong strands are hair are floating in the water? I'm not trying to be mean, but I have much more respect for men who just let themselves go bald. I've also seen some very funny-looking toupees!
It's interesting that men can go bald, and most people think nothing of it. I can think of some actors who are bald, and no one cares. Bruce Willis and Patrick Stewart, for example.
To be honest, yes, I would prefer a man to have hair if everything else was equal. But it's not a deterrent to me if he doesn't.
