I've been having soy for years. If you eat too much of anything, you'll have issues.

Kapalua - you are so over-the-top zealous that you lose all credibility. The article I linked shows how wrong you are - I linked to a credible source - you talk about some "famous doctor" who "knows what is going on." A zealot is a zealot is a zealot.

I am a senior citizen and have been eating soy products all my life. I would say you would have to have very large, large quanities every single day to even notice anything. Larger quanities than humanly possible to eat or drink. So if I am still alive, soy won't hurt you.

Provide links, I would like to know where this famous doctor is, where all this money comes from and where you get your facts. You believe and put in your body what you want, but if you want to change what I put in my own body...post something concrete.

IMHO all transfats are bad, soy is just used a good deal for it because it's grown so much...also hydrolising (to make soy sauce much faster) is bad, fermentation tastes better and I hear good and bad about it for health. Many people eat raw, dried, and just cooked soybeans (edname) without any problems for a long long time (including myself). If you eat 10 pounds a day or eat stuff that's been heavily pesticided you will have a problem, that's not the food items problem...you would get the same with anything else.

Someone beats to it, but Japanese who eat tofu, a soy bean product, are among the healthiest people on the planet. If you read the nutritional content of soy bean, it's no different from other beans. It's good stuff. I eat tofu everyday. I haven't been to a doctor in years. Haven't had a headache or any health problems in years. Here are my latest health checkup result taken today:

Blood pressure: 108/74

Glucose: 64

Cholesterol: 163

Default Say Good-bye to Soy Products

Soybeans are toxic, dont worry it will catch up to you, and you lovers of soy products the soybean oil is HYDROGENATED that means it causes Heart Disease. Yes, more doctors know how dangerous and toxic soybeans are and what they have to do the food companies to make this toxic legume edible, $500,000,000 dollars they have spent to get the toxic stuff out, NO CAN DO... you people are eating a poisonous legume, if you want to keep poisoning yourself keep eating it and soybean oil promotes heart diseases.

Some food for thought, pardon the pun. Again I remind readers to distinguish between a food in its native or near native state and a food that is highly processed as to which is safer for consumption.

The Japanese eat very little Tofu. They eat what comes to an equivelant of a tablespoon. Even if they ate more, there is absolutely no reason to assume thats why they are more healthy.
