But I hate the limitations that I am experiencing. Foot problems, knee problems, eyesight. Just little annoinances that put a kink in my day. I am thankful that I don't have any extreme issues. I think my mind is sharp but sometimes that "word" that I am trying to think of is just beyond reach.

I would suggest go get a physical. Let the doctor know what issues you are having.

Also, try exercise. Aqua/water exercises are usually good to pursue without stressing or straining muscles and joints if you have no serious problems.

Exercise also makes you feel better and more energetic.

Don't start "feeling" old....get out, have fun and stay young.

btw, I forget words, my keys all that kind of stuff.
I can't read without my glasses anymore.

It's an interesting process. I remind myself more and more of my mother everyday...*smile*

Donna had some pretty good suggestions. There are a lot of things you just can't do anything about, but exercise, plenty of water, eat healthy food, will go a long way.

My dear old Mom was a wise old lady and she use to tell me "The ONLY thing that don't hurt when you get old is the gray hair!"

Well...I am old..in years I am still active, still do all the chores and the housekeeping, upkeep on the lawn, still take care of the grandkids and now a great grandson..Sure I am beginning to have a few health issues, but I take my meds as described and don't stress about it

The worst thing about old age for me is the realization that"Life is short"..With that in mind I try to make each day one more day to give my family something happy to remember me by and..most important..one more day to make things right with my Lord

I have just started back on the water aerobics and I know that helps a lot.
