Hello ladies, so unfortunately it's getting to be that time of the month & I have all the PMS symptoms (bloat, fatigue, tender breasts, mood swings, cravings) I was wondering how much does weather affect your menstrual cycle because I am currently in a very hot, humid environment & I just feel soooo exhausted & worn out, like I just want to close my eyes.
Maybe it's because of the coffee I drank today (I drank 2 cups) & the fact that I had to wake up @ 6:30am...
Is it the weather that's affecting me or is it the onset of my period? Thanks...
I don't know but I am in the same boat...My weather is cool, grey and rainy...and it has been that way for days now. Weather definitly plays on my mood so if I am already moody due to my upcoming period,,,the grey rainy weather makes me really sleepy. And I sleep really really well when it is cool and rainy.

If only it wasn't so hot here in Oklahoma...I feel like I'm choking & I teach during the week @ a daycare center & almost had heat stroke. I really hate feeling this way...my stomach was hurting earlier & I was starving...but since I ate dinner, I am sooo exhausted....
There is a very good book that all women shoud read that talks about the menstrual cycle in relation to the moon; so yes outside forces effect your menstrual cycle. I'm going to haft to dig up that book and post a link.
I find I eat so differently depending on the weather, and what I eat drastically affects how every month goes. If I stray from high-fiber, low-fat, low-junk -- and God help me in winter when I need something to make me feel better! -- it's going to be a baaaaad cycle.
Hot, humid weather makes anything harder to bear, in my opinion.

I have another question:
Is it normal for PMS symptoms to worsen as you get older?? I've had my period since I was 11 & now at age 20, it seems like I feel more fatigued, nauseated during this time more than ever before...
