I have been thinking, is being muscular (not huge bodybuilder even, just bigger than average) no longer in fashion nowadays for men? It seems like everyone nowadays likes guys who are really ripped, even if they don't have much muscle. For example, that Zac Efron guy is obviously in good shape and is extremely cut, but he doesn't have that much muscle on him and he is the new big star, whereas in the past, girls used to like fairly brawny men. I'm only 19, so maybe girls' preferences change as they get older, but I've just noticed that there seems to be a trend towards being cut than muscular in general. The 6 pack and having a flat chest is more popular now than having big arms and broad shoulders. Am I the only one that notices this, or is this common knowledge now? Do you think this is just a fad, or that it's here to stay?
