Have any on here had a broken clavicle? I broke mine two weeks ago today and today found it was not healing as it should. I have to decide if I should let them re-break and set it with a pin or going another three weeks and see it the poor position improves. If it remains the same I will have to have the pin or put up with the pain which I am not open to. I keep thinking if I go ahead and fix it than I will save at least 4 weeks in a sling, and might be able to get back to typing with two hands, and a normal life.

I would rebreak it. The ex broke his arm and it was doing the same thing and he did not get it fixed and it gives him problems now (pain with certain twisting etc) I have pulled the muscle in that area...Oh man..I would get it set right if being set wrong had any type of pain like pulling a muscle in that area does. I would imagine it would start to mess with your back too.

So you have to choose to pin it now or wait 3 weeks, evaluate and then maybe pin it? I would wait...
