Does anyone here crave milk? I seem to only want to drink it and can't get enough.. Does it mean that I am missing something in my diet? I used to get like this when I was prego but I tested and it isn't the case this time.
i use to think taht I was odd until I got in the military and they had the best cold milk in the world . Guys that liked milk could not get enough of it at meals.Like chocolate you need to limit it tho.
I've been lactose intolerant since I was born. I have had to pretty much stay away from milk, ice cream and even some cheeses because of the after effects from eating/drinking milk products. I will have a small glass full if I am eating something really doughy like pancakes, donuts or cookies but I will usually stretch out the drinking of that glass full and possibly still have some left over. But for the last 3 weeks I have been craving milk. I've gone from drinking very little to drinking 2 glasses a night with 3 or 4 cookies and if I don't drink it, I wake up within few hours of sleeping feeling sick to my stomach and feeling the need to go get a glass of milk. It's driving me crazy!
Have you had your vitamin d checked? I am a diabetic and crave milk when my blood sugar is out of wack, also my vitamin d is usually low. Just a thought.
i eat almonds and take calcium pills. doesn't mean much. my body LOVES milk and feels "satisfied"/"happy" after i ingest milk, either through a low fat protein milkshake or cereal but yeah, like you, i *need* milk. i usually consume two glasses worth at a time. sometimes i will eat the whole quart of ice cream (well frozen yogurt mostly because of the health benefits).
