Often after eating some strange foods (I travel often), I pop an antacid, or pepto bismol type product. Usually the morning after, my tongue is black and I spend a few minutes brushing it off. Any suggestions to avoid this?
If you use the pepto tablets instead of the liquid, you can break them up and swallow them like a pill (with water) instead of chewing them. Your stools will still turn black, but your tongue won't.
