This is a bit personal for me to share, but I'm so nervous I need to keep busy. I'm having a Hysterosalpingogram (HSG) this morning. I'm a big baby, so the idea of having to experience any kind of pain freaks me out. Then, of course, if I get bad news from this procedure I'm not sure how I will approach the dissapointment.

We're going to try to get pregnant this coming year. In my mid-20's I had a problem and lost some of my bits (part of an ovary and one falopian tube). To be sure there isn't any scarring blocking the intact tube, if it's indeed intact, I'm electing to have this procedure to avoid the possibility of a tubal pregnancy. I'm a little scared.

Thanks auntbee. I appreciate the well wishes. It was pretty quick, tho, a bit painful. I acted like a baby, so I'm embarrassed, but the nurse and doc were nice. Fortunately, I'm in the clear IRT any problems.
