I was wondering how much hours of sleep you all get a night and was is typical?

Me personally, I tend to get about 7 hours on average.

I usually alternatate between 6 hours of sleep and 8 hours of sleep. For some reason.

If the weather is really bad though sometimes more like 10 hours

Occasionally, twice a month or so I have maybe 4 hours of sleep for a night or two.

Typically, 6 1/2, although occasionally I'll sleep 8-9 on the weekends.

I try to get to bed by 9:30 because I get up at 4:30
It is rare for me to sleep straight through one of our 3 dogs always decides it would be fun to "wake up mom" why they never try to wake "dad" I can't figure out.
So I get up to let one out then go back to bed and the other waits till I am just about asleep and she wants out. lol The puppy goes out both times. I think she is afraid she may miss something.
I sometimes think kids would be easier

It is impossible to sleep more than 5 hours with an enlarged prostrate and full bladder. This happens once you get to 50 years old.

Consider FLOMAX... that is, if you can get over the runny nose, dizziness, and decrease in semen.

I would kill for more than 4 hours of sleep. I suffer from insomnia.

I too fluctuate between 5 and 7.
Do better with 7, but can't count on it.
I will nap if I am able to, but can't count on that either.
Rarely get 8 hours.

I really have to have 8 hours or I get dumb really quick...I can't think or function if I get less then that a couple days running.

There are times that I can sleep 10 hours. I just stopped taking a medication that was making me so groggy I was sleeping 12 hours and still tired when I got out of bed...

Lately 7 - 7.5 hrs. but I wake up frequently. Will hopefully sleep better once this move is over. Too much on my mind to rest well.
